How to optimize my promotion statistics with Dreamweavers Records International

I have had a conversation with a few of you. Interesting questions were raised, as to why some featured artists seem to be gathering more followers, like for example in the Facebook fan groups, questions about stats trickling through to streaming services, etc.

I would like to share a few comments in this regard.

Nothing beats an awareness with fans of you as the artists being personally engaged. If you don't share your music and promotion material to your Facebook fan group yourself once in a while, there will be a disconnect with the fans.

Engage with the fans in your fan group. Share bits and pieces of your personal life too.

Invite your own friends and followers to your Facebook Fan group too! They are more likely to engage and it will also encourage your new fans to engage with your content.

Dreamweavers strongly depends on the sense of community to increase following and engagement and you are more likely to succeed on our platform if you partake.

Building relationships takes time and effort.

Dreamweavers, in promoting you as the artists, will not by default focus on your number of streams on a specific platform like, for example, Apple Music, unless you personally request that.

We can, however, do various things to increase your streams with your distributor, like Tunecore or Distrokid, by utilizing the tools on our platform.

1. We can use your sounds in reels we publish on Facebook and TikTok if you have set permissions to do so. Those streams will count towards your streams with your distributor.

2. We can ran promotion campaigns on Meta and TikTok with your sounds, if you allowed this (it is not that way by default).

Take note that promoting music is a costly affair. For original artists, we would like you to consider to be willing to publish at least some of your original work through our record label, for us to be able to justify funding the promotion of you as an artists or your music catalogue. Merely increasing your streams and views on your own or even our pages, has no benefit for Dreamweavers at all. But increasing your popularity can benefit us if we have also published some of your original work.
