- š¢ IMPORTANT UPDATE: The Next Evolution of the Dreamweavers Community!Ā š
Hello Dreamweavers Family! To ensure our music reaches more ears and our communities remain highly active in the new Facebook algorithm, we are rolling out an upgraded promotional strategy across our network. We are officially operating 16 active Facebook Groups, and here is how we are structuring them to maximize everyone's digital opportunity: š¶ Featured Artist Hubs (Hybrid Groups) To keep engagement thriving, all Featured Artist groups will now become dynamic, shared spaces. Alongside the featured artistās own amazing content, we will begin cross-promoting brand-new releases and updates from our core roster of Dreamweavers Signed Artists. This guarantees a steady stream of incredible music and keeps these communities highly visible! ā Signed Artist Hubs (Exclusive VIP Zones) Groups dedicated to our Signed Artists (like Da Brigg's Yard, The Glitchverse, will remain exclusive, closed ecosystems. These are premium VIP spaces dedicated 100% to that specific artist's journey and their core fanbase. (Note to our pending applicants: this exclusive group status is one of the premier perks of a Dreamweavers contract!) š The Main Label Hubs The Main Community Group, Zeus, Hermes, and our fully resumed YouTube Promotion and Karaoke & Free Promotion groups will continue to serve as our massive global broadcasters for all label announcements, submissions, and releases across the entire DWS family. This multi-tiered approach ensures every group stays vibrant and every artist gets the spotlight they deserve. Letās keep pushing the boundaries! Forging melodies, shaping dreams. DREAMWEAVERS RECORDS INTERNATIONAL Would you like to start mapping out exactly which days of the week these Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 groups will be targeted in your updated 4-week promotional schedule?

- Beating the Meta Algorithm in 2026: How to Protect and Multiply Your Organic Reach
Hey Dreamweavers Family, If you feel like your Facebook posts, single promos, or group shares are being shown to fewer people lately, you arenāt imagining it. In 2026, Facebookās algorithm operates as an AI-driven "interest and discovery engine," where over 50% of the content in users' feeds now comes from accounts they donāt even follow [cite: 1.1.11]. The good news? Organic reach isn't deadāit has just evolved [cite: 1.1.2]. Meta's algorithm actively rewards creators who prioritize meaningful community interaction while penalizing outdated, "transactional" posting habits [cite: 1.1.12, 1.1.13]. To help our artists, subscribers, and paid members get the most out of our network, weāve broken down the exact, fact-checked rules for maximizing your reach on Facebook Pages and within our co-managed groups [cite: 1.2.6]. 1. Stop Hiding in Group Shares: The Importance of Descriptions and Captions Many creators fall into the trap of ālink dumpingāāsimply posting a YouTube, Spotify, or landing page link into a Facebook Group and hitting post [cite: 1.2.9]. This kills your reach. The algorithm scans the text of your posts to determine their relevance [cite: 1.1.15]. If a post contains only a URL and a generic phrase like "Check out my new song," Meta's AI flags it as low-value, promotional, or potential spam [cite: 1.2.14]. The Fix: Treat every group post like a mini-blog or storytelling opportunity [cite: 1.2.8]. Give the audience context. Share the story behind your song, the vocal challenges you faced, or a breakdown of your creative process [cite: 1.3.4]. Use open-ended, natural questions to spark conversation [cite: 1.3.2, 1.3.4] (e.g., "What is the hardest R&B run to sing live? Here is how we tackled our new track..."). The more thoughtful your text, the more likely the algorithm is to index it and show it to group members [cite: 1.1.12]. 2. The Link-in-Comment Rule (Keep Users On-Platform) Itās a fact of 2026 social media: Meta does not want users leaving Facebook. Putting external links (such as Spotify, YouTube, or even landing pages) directly into your post captions can cause a drop in organic reach of up to 70% or more [cite: 1.1.6, 1.2.1]. The algorithm actively suppresses outbound links [cite: 1.2.14]. The Fix: Craft a high-engagement caption with zero external links [cite: 1.2.14]. At the very end of your post, include a simple call-to-action like "Listen to the full track in the comments below! š" [cite: 1.2.13] The Action: Immediately after publishing, go to the comments section and drop your link as the very first comment [cite: 1.2.13]. If you are posting on a Page, pin that comment so it stays at the top [cite: 1.2.14]. On Facebook Groups, this method keeps your main post "clean" and algorithmic reach intact [cite: 1.2.14]. 3. Stop Group Oversharing (Shadow-Ban Prevention) It is highly tempting to take your new post and instantly share or repost it to 10, 15, or 20 different Facebook Groups. Do not do this. When Meta's security algorithms detect an account sharing the exact same link, video, or text across multiple groups in a short time frame, it flags the behavior as "coordinated spam." This can limit your account's visibility (a shadow-ban) or restrict your posting privileges entirely. The Fix: Protect your reach by being selective [cite: 1.1.12]. Stagger your promotion. Share your post to 1 or 2 highly relevant groups at a time, spacing them out by several hours. Customize the caption for each group so it remains authentic [cite: 1.3.6]. Remember: Our paid members and artists already hold pre-approved posting rights in our 14 Dreamweavers community groups [cite: 1.2.6]. That's a powerful toolāuse it wisely instead of spamming every group at once. 4. Leverage High-Resolution, 10ā15s Short Reels Short-form vertical video is Metaās primary engine for discovery [cite: 1.1.14]. On Reels, watch-through and retention metrics outrank almost every other ranking factor [cite: 1.1.11, 1.3.14]. Optimize the "Hook" (0ā3 seconds): Do not start with a still image, fade-in, or silence [cite: 1.3.14]. Begin immediately on your most dramatic vocal, hook, or highest-energy moment [cite: 1.1.11]. Keep It Snappy (10ā15 Seconds): Followers are exponentially more likely to watch a full 10-second Reel than a 4-minute music video [cite: 1.1.11]. High complete-watch rates signal high-value content to Meta, boosting it to non-followers [cite: 1.1.11, 1.3.14]. Quality Matters: Always ensure your video is in high resolution and completely free of third-party watermarks (like TikTok branding), as Meta actively deprioritizes watermarked, low-res, or re-uploaded files [cite: 1.3.14]. 5. Never Violate Community Standards & Guidelines Your page holds a invisible āquality scoreā [cite: 1.3.9]. Even a single strike for violating Metaās Community Standards can suppress your reach for months, or disqualify you from monetization [cite: 1.3.14]. Avoid Engagement Bait: Phrases like "Like and share if you agree!" or "Comment your favorite emoji below" are flagged by AI as spam [cite: 1.3.3]. Encourage genuine conversation instead [cite: 1.3.2, 1.3.4]. Verify Music Licensing: Ensure you have the rights to the audio in your videos, or stick to Meta's licensed audio library to avoid copyright flags, which can immediately restrict the visibility of your post. 6. Optimize Your Page via the Professional Dashboard If you manage a Facebook Business Page or operate in Professional Mode, the Professional Dashboard is your most important asset [cite: 1.3.4, 1.3.5]. The "Account Status" & Recommendation Tool: Facebook makes it very clear if your Page is healthy. Routinely check the Page Recommendation or Account Status tab. If there are any flags, address them immediately to keep your content eligible for non-follower feeds [cite: 1.1.11]. Action Meta's Daily Tasks & Recommendations: Meta provides personalized "Next Steps," task checklists, and audience-growth recommendations directly in your dashboard [cite: 1.3.2, 1.3.4]. Following these suggestions (such as completing your "About" section, trying new tools, or responding to comments) is highly favored by the algorithm [cite: 1.3.5, 1.3.15]. When you utilize Facebook's built-in engagement recommendations, the platform is more likely to reward you with increased visibility [cite: 1.3.2, 1.3.15]. By treating Facebook as a place for authentic community instead of just a billboard, youāll align with the algorithm, keep your audience engaged, and ensure your music and brand gets the spotlight it deserves [cite: 1.1.12, 1.1.13]! - Elevating Our Sound: A Smarter Way We Are Promoting Your Music
Good Day, Dreamweavers! As we continue to grow, bridging your incredible creativity with the best digital opportunities remains our top priority. To ensure your music and your personal brand get the maximum visibility they deserve, we are rolling out a highly focused, curated promotion strategy across our 4 Facebook Pages and 17 Community Groups. What is the new approach? Rather than blasting every update everywhere all at onceāwhich can actually dilute how many fans see your workāwe are moving to a deliberate, spaced-out rotation schedule. By pacing our promotions, we allow every single release, announcement, and spotlight the space it needs to breathe, gain momentum, and reach the right audiences organically. What does this mean for our Featured Artists? The Spotlight You Deserve: Each day, we will intentionally highlight just one specific Page and one Community Group. When it is your day to shine in your dedicated fan group, the content will be exclusive, engaging, and tailored directly to the listeners who love you most. Smarter Page Distribution: We will be rolling out major announcements on the main Dreamweavers label page first, and then strategically sharing them to the Signed Artist Page, Featured Artists Page, and my professional page over the following days. This ensures your music lands natively in front of different listeners without getting lost in the noise. Stronger Communities: From our broad Main Community Group to our fan spaces, our focus is shifting heavily toward building genuine conversation and deep fan engagement. Your Role in the Roster While Dreamweavers will actively promote your dedicated fan group according to this new roster, these communities ultimately thrive on your direct connection. We need you to post fresh content directly into your fan group yourself. To keep our promotional push impactful, we will only direct traffic to active communities. If there is no new content posted by you in your group since the previous promotion cycle, your group will be skipped in the current rotation. Keeping your space updated ensures you never miss a promotional push and your fans always have something new to enjoy! One post a month is more than sufficient for the fan groups, This excludes paid promotion campaigns that Dreamweavers deploy for pre-saved releases and newly released music published through out Record Label. This new strategy is all about quality over volume. It protects the health of our platforms and ensures that when your track drops, the world actually hears it. This new approach was developed after re-evaluating Meta's dealing with content, in general Our pages are all in good health and recommendable at the moment, but that alone is not the sole target, we want to use the correct strategies that promotes engagement and not lead to suppression of content. Make sure that you do take the time to read Meta's Community Standards and Guidelines as well as what is regarded as original, authentic content. It is also advisable to not just share a link to your page or group, but rather to create a post, with either an image or a reel, and a clear, short topic, not more than 3 hashtags and the link you want to share. Use links sparingly though! If you already posted your artist page link with all necessary links to your music platforms and social media pages, pinned it to your personal page or fan group featured section, refer your fans to your links there. The fact that you as well as Dreamweavers add your music to promotional reels from the catalogue, is already great!. Your fans can easily track it from there and open it in the platform of their choice. For members who publishes original music through us, we will include your artist page link in promotional reels where we added your music from catalogues to the reels, for Featured Artists who wants a cover song to be promoted, we will add your Facebook Fan group link. Thank you for being the heartbeat of DWS. Letās keep building something extraordinary together. Kenny Hattingh Founder & CEO, Dreamweavers Records International
